How can I tell if my dog is pregnant or if its a false pregnancy?

My dog looks like she is pregnant but I took her to the vet and they said it looks like a false pregnancy. She is producing milk, has gained a lot of weight, she dont eat much, and just lays around the house all day and wines. How can I tell if she is pregnant? They said to wait a few weeks and bring her back that it was to early to tell. I dont want to wait I need to make plans on what to do for her.

well you cant do anything until you know… if it is a false pregnancy they will either give her tablets or if it is really bad they will do an operation. If the vet says you have to wait.. you have to wait… my dog got them all the time and she became aggressive about it as we have 4 other dogs in the house… in the end my mum spayed her but do you have any way of telling if she is pregnant. like have you seen her around any male dogs? Even if she and the male dog mated, it does not neccessarily mean she is pregnant as usually it takes a few tries. you have to mate them over a period of days to make sure so most likely it will be a false pregnancy. just give her lost of love and dont let her rule over the house until you can be certain, because if she is expecting you don’t want her to become aggressive towards you…
