How can I tell if my dog is having a false pregnancy

I breed my dog and she is only about a month along now but 3 days in a row she got sick , she is laying around a lot more. she had diarrhea once and her nipples and stomach are getting bigger? she has a vet app. in 3 weeks but I wanted to know so there isn’t false hope when I take her in?

In UK you don’t neeed a licence

Answer #2

I’d take her in just because she has diarrhea and is vomiting…that doesn’t necessarily have ANYTHING to do with being pregnant…You don’t want her sick or getting dehydrated while she’s pregnant…I’m not positive, but it may be too early to do an ultra sound to see how many pups are there…She’s only half way to term, so her nipples and tummy aren’t going to change much for a couple of weeks…

Answer #3

I would suggest taking her in, a lot of times you can tell if their tummy is tight if they are pregnant… but right now she could have some sickness and it could harm the pups if she is pregnant if you don’t get her in… Maybe even if you just call your vet and ask them what they think you should do it could help and maybe save her pregnancy.

Answer #4

well first off you need a license to breed animals, so hopefuly you have that if not then what your doing is illegal as for her being sick, take her to the vet theyll do some tests and tell you whats wrong with her and if its anything serious

Answer #5

Here in the US, Kennel licenses are determined by county…in most of the states, at least…California may be different…Generally, a person has to have more than one dog to be considered a “kennel”…or a breeder.
