How. Can I do magick without a wand/other objects?

If the truth is all that you Xians believe, then I would rather go to Hell. You’ve got yourself stuck in a certain way of thinking and you refuse to consider anything else told to you. This crap has been around long before the internet. Read history books. Oh wait, you won’t, because you already know everything, don’t you? You said:

The point was, you need to do some research and expand beyond your way of thinking. You’re saying we need to do some research, well we know the background of these holidays, and that’s all we stated. Witchcraft has nothing to do with Satan. I follow a pagan religion too, do you think I worship Satan? You don’t know what goes on in other people’s ideas and traditions, so don’t just come in and act like you do.

As a note, I’m not claiming all people who follow the Xian religion are as simple minded as pepsiholic88. I know some that are more open minded and try to understand others beliefs as best as they can, even if they don’t necessarily agree with them. If more people were like that, it would make things much easier…

Xian is the exact same thing as Christian… And this is not all internet research. I have books. Lots and lots of books. I collect them like mad. Of course most of them are for my own beliefs. I’ve looked at the Bible. It’s not for me. The Bible is NOT a history book. I do believe in some historical facts around Xianity, but not the whole deal. Also, you can find proof in anything if you decide it exists. If you believe in God, chances are, some otherwise ordinary things can be taken out of context as His actions. Maybe we aren’t looking for enlightenment. I’m happier with my choices now then I ever have been. I may be a fool to you, it doesn’t matter to me what you or your God thinks of me. I don’t think it’s going to matter in the end of the day. And I highly doubt that you’re going to be the last Xian to try and ‘enlighten’ me. I don’t know if you got anything out of this discussion, but I know I did, and no, it has nothing to do with “God” or believing in your chosen religion. I also realize that my first post here probably came off wrong. I should have gone into more detail as to what I was getting at and for that I apologize. Enjoy your life and live it to it’s fullest.

I don’t want you to believe my way of thinking. I want you to understand it, as I’ve stated before.Which you are failing at miserably. Obviously my way of life is not for you. And to be quite honest, I don’t think you’re strong enough. I never said anything about Christianity coming from China either… Where did you get that from? You say I’m being mislead. How so? I’ve questioned and researched things all my life. I’ve never had any beliefs set in stone, I’m flexible. If some kind of proof is presented to me, I’ll incorporate it into my ideas and perhaps change them to suit this. You’re fixed on one set of ideas and vehemently deny everything else.

Maybe you’re right. Maybe the pagan religion wasn’t first. Maybe everything didn’t originate there. But there’s more proof in our logic then yours. I’m not going to make up stories or follow some fairytale for answers. I can accept the fact that I could be wrong, but in some of these cases I’m pretty sure I’ve got the fact straight and you’re blindly arguing.

And oh joy, I’ve pissed off another Xian =) I can’t understand why you’d care that I don’t believe what’s written in the Bible, I’ll get what’s coming to me eventually eh? ;)

I figure it’s always best to make your own tools. And I may incorporate some of these ideas into my rune set, they seem interesting…

You are one of the most ignorant people I’ve seen on this site. Do a little research. Almost every holiday you call Xian originated as a pagan holiday. The Xian’s took them to make converting pagans easier.

The beliefs wicca are based on are MUUUCCCH older than christianity. Then the christians took the holidays and persecuted wiccans as satanists to keep theirs as the stronger religion. pepsiholic I suggest you get your nose out of your bible and do some research. Wiccans dont believe in satan and certainly dont worship him. If you must know the beliefs that wicca is based off of are much older than christianity and most of your christians holidays are stolen beliefs. Sooo…for YOU to not worship the same thing wiccans do you would have to stop celebrating: halloween christmas candlemas easter etc etc etc

I would suggest some Scot cunningham books, he explains how to cast magick without the use of tools. Wait, I’ll get one of his books. “In common with most religions, certain objects are used in Wicca for ritual purposes. These tools invoke the deities, banish negativity, direct energy through our touch and intention. (…) To practice Wicca you might want to collect at least some of these tools. Search through antique and junk shoops, swap meets and flea markets for these treasures. Or, write to occult suppliers. (!!!) These tools AREN’T necessary to the practice of Wicca. However they enrich rituals and symbolize complex energies. The tools have no power save for that which we lend to them. (!!!)

Magickal objects are simply tools. They help to guide you. Find out what it is you want to do and just substitute for now.

you needn’t any tools to perform any magick. Go with the flow and do what feels right to you. But if you wish then you can, or you can yse a knife/atheme in it’s placw(I tend to do that from time to time). But again, it’s not needed to perform magick. Funail me if wish. I’ll futher elaborate to you on any question you may have. Don’t be shy 1_~
