how can a thirteen year old girl lose weight kinda fast?

well im a girl, im about 5’1” and I weigh about 176 lbs. I used to play soccer and I kept an average of 130 pounds while I was playying but now I guess I’ve gotten kinda depressed and have done nothing in the past maybe year or so. but now I’ve been talking to this guy [ over the net ] and we’re going to be meeting for christmas & im afraid to meet him cause of my weight. I’ve been trying hard to cut back on the junk food but its kinda hard, and I’ve been also walking [ I cant really go now sence its really cold out now ] what are some other ways I can get excersize and stuff. and try to drop some pounds in a few weeks.? :( please help, I dont know what to do I dont have much time..

In answer to your question, going to the gym and stuff like that can end up costing a lot of money. Do stuff around the house, walking up and down stairs, running up and down stairs (be careful obviously, haha, don’t go falling over) sit ups, cleaning, scrubbing. Don’t push yourself too far though, and make sure you eat healthily, don’t starve yourself as it can end up making you very ill, and even gaining weight!

The best way to lose weight fast isn’t the pills on the adverts, or the machines on the tv. It’s eating right and staying active!

Lots of water, soup, veggies and fruits! Fish is good for you too (not that I like it!) Don’t stay away from carbs completely, but just make sure everything is balanced!

If you have access to a gym; ellipticals work well, as well as a lot of crunchies til you cant move, and weights. Also, drink a LOT of water, and you can eat celery to help burn calories as well.
