How and why do birds talk?

Answer #1

How: Birds have the vocal capacity to mimic human speech. Their biological form gives them a wide range of pitch/sound/pattern, for this is how they communicate with one another, this is how they sing, court, and project their feelings.

Why: Birds “talk” because they mimic things they hear after a period of time. If a bird is constantly in human exposure, they mimic the sounds and frequent patterns of humans to relate, and also because the human pattern of sound is constantly in their midst. Also, if the behavior of the mimicry is rewarded by a human, the bird with them seek to attempt it more frequently.
