What can i do about my hot flashes and i don't want to go to the dr again?

Answer #1

You should have put in a bit more detail to get a better answer. I’m not sure what you mean by “hot flashes”… but if you meant “hot flushes”, like when you stand up and feel a bit dizzy etc. they are normal, most people get them. So I wouldn’t worry about them unless you get them very regularly, then you could possibly have low blood pressure, and should visit the doctor.

I am not sure if that is what you were talking about though. So sorry if it was something different.

If your flashes are due to pre menopause, an increase of soy in your diet may help. Soy contains phytoestrogens that sort of act like estrogen in our bodies. Some women find great relief in eating more soy products, others not so much.
