HIV/AIDS patient transmitting AIDS

Does sucking the nipples of an HIV / AIDS patient can transmit the disease to a healthy patient or licking the vagina of an infected person can also transmit the disease… & what precautions should be taken while having sex with a infected person…please help

Answer #1

You can only get HIV by exchange of body fluids. So unless the person is lactating or bleeding it is unlikely you will get infected from sucking on nipples. As for the oral sex, it is possible to get HIV.

Casual contact through closed-mouth or “social” kissing is not a risk for transmission of HIV. Because of the potential for contact with blood during “French” or open-mouth kissing, CDC recommends against engaging in this activity with a person known to be infected. However, the risk of acquiring HIV during open-mouth kissing is believed to be very low. CDC has investigated only one case of HIV infection that may be attributed to contact with blood during open-mouth kissing.

For oral sex use a latex barrier (such as a natural rubber latex sheet, a dental dam or a cut-open condom that makes a square) between your mouth and the vagina. A latex barrier such as a dental dam reduces the risk of blood or vaginal fluids entering your mouth. Plastic food wrap also can be used as a barrier.

For vaginal sex use a condom.

Answer #2

Its also a lot easier for a man to pass the disease onto a woman as it is for a woman to give it to a man just thought id add that

Answer #3

Why would you want to do that in the first place? You could get the disease if you took in some bodily fluids of the infected person. Then the licking part?? You sure could get the disease. If you want to do anything sexual with the person, USE PROTECTION!! Go buy some condoms or don’t do anything at all!!
