How long do I wait to get tested for aids?

How long must I wait after having oral sex with a person who is infected with the aids virus to get tested? To make sure I dont have the viruse myself

A person could be “HIV Positive”, or they could actually “have” AIDs. One is a little more serious than the other. AIDS is transmitted through body fluids. In your case, you stand a pretty high chance of getting AIDS. The earlier you catch it, the better your chances are, so see your doctor as soon as possible. Knowing the situation as you do ahead of time, the doctor may be able to prescribe some immune building things to take that may help you in the long run. I certainly would not wait until you tested “positive” before I did anything. Also, in today’s world, if a person who “knowingly” has AIDS becomes intimate with a person who does not have AIDS, in some states laws have been passed where that is a felony. The person with AIDS could end up in prison for the rest of their life. It is a pretty serious offense.

I have to agree with Moe on this one. WHY ON EARTH would you KNOWINGLY have sex with someone with AIDS?!?! Do you WANT to die??? GO TO THE CLINIC TODAY!!

Call your local Health Clinic and ask them how long it takes for AIDS o show up in a test…Then GET ONE!!

I cant help you with that answer but what I can advice you on is that things like this makes us reconsider what are main focus is in life. I wish you the best and pray that you dont have this virus but if you do rember that our lord Jesus Christ is the only one that can help us overcome these difficult problems. Why would you even go through with it if you knew they had it? You need to get tested asap.
