How long until oral herpes shows up?

soo a little over a week ago I was visiting my brother in college. I was dancing with a girl who madeout with another girl while dancing. shortly afterwards I madeout with the girl I was dancing with. the problem as I found out later…the girl she madeout with just minutes beforehand had oral herpies and I’m really sweating that I might have it/contract it…is it really that possible? if so, how long till the symptoms show up??

Hi,

For oral herpes, the amount of time between contact with the virus and the appearance of symptoms, the incubation period, is 2-12 days. Most people average about 4 days.
