Help my parents want me to move back home

So I moved out of my house into an apartment about two hours away from home. And I moved out because my cousin was going to move with me and she needed help to pay the rent. So I talked to my parents and they decided to let me stay with here, im only 18 and shes 20, we both just started college.my parents are super over protective and strict, so this weekend we went to this dance with a friend I have, after the dance was over it was like 3 or so and he had to drive back home for about 45 minute so we insisted he stayed in the living room floor while we slept in our locked rooms! Some how my parents found out that he stayed here and now they want me to move back because he stayed here and they think im super stupid for letting someone I dont know stay here, that he could of killed us or something.. I just dont know what else to say! Someone please help me

Get a jobb and then/ or wait til your 19 and move back. can you wait? if not, then try to convince your parents to move back, but if they dont want your cusins there then maybe your cousins shouldnt move in with you..

but I really cant because they pay for my rent, and I dont have a job yet!

BUT im in nebraska and leagal age isnt 18 its 19

get your bank statements, bills and pay stubs out.

If they try to force you, take them to court and prove your emancipation and financial responsibility.

You’re 18…they can’t make you do anything anymore.

You’re responsible for yourself now - stand up to them. It’s your life.
