I have a really bad habit ov bitin my nails please help me tofind a way to stop I alredi tries the things that make your nails tast horrible
I had that issue too. Try getting a manicure or something.You tend to not want to ruin it,so you dont want to bite them.Another thing you can do is distract either your hands or your mouth,so you lose the urge.Try chewing gum all the time,or finding a hobby you need your hands for. Another thing I did to stop,which was kinda weird,is Id pick a nail to sort of "protect" and not bite for the whole week.Once that one was growing back,Id pick another to "protect" That worked for a while but I eventually started biting them again =/ hah
it takes 21 days to break a habit. I say try what she tried first, but if that doesn't work wear gloves for 21 days. I haven't bit my nails since I was little. it really works.
it doesnt take any specific time to break a habit...get short acrylic nails... It worked for all my nail biting buddies...
