Will that preven me from joining the military?

I was in a mental hospital for 3 days with no previous visits and no prescriptions.I said I tried to kill myself but I was just drunk when I was talking will that preven me from joining the military?

Well that depends. They cant disclose that you were there, or what you were doing there (patient client confidentiality, you can sue them for breaching it). So, really it is up to you to disclose what happened… I do want to point out though. People dont generally end up in the psych ward for saying stupid things when they were drunk. You want to seriously consider whether being put under that amount of stress is good for your mental health
