How does the heart and lungs work together?
I know about veins and arteries and the chambers, but how does the blood get oxygen from the lungs. Does blood actually go into the lungs and if so, how does it get back out?

@sophia - that would be an equally appropriate (or rather inappropriate) response to most of the serious questions asked on this site. Not everyone is lucky enough to have perfect health plus a 100% attendance record, or indeed a photographic memory. ….. Furthermore, having witnessed the appalling standard of teaching proficiency in some academic establishments, it is perhaps no bad thing that students do not retain too much of the rubbish they are “taught”.
