Healthy Diet

For once I want to try to lose weight the healthy way. Please don;t just tell me to eat healthy and exercise. I know that, but what type of exercises should I do and what foods (besides fruits and veggies) should I eat? Thank you.

well for exercise you have to run, jog, jump rope, play any sports and for eating healthy dont fry your foods eat only chicken and fish try to avoid red meat, shrimps, and pork and when you cook fish and chicken, grill it or bake it only and eat lots of fruits and vegetables to get full and water will fill you up too and for the wheat foods only eat wheat breads, and try not to eat rice, and pastas for breakfast you should eat cornflakes or a fruit salad and for lunch always eat a salad, any kinds of salads like chicken, cesar, and fruit salads too and for dinner eat chicken or fish and grill it like I said

just stay active. as long as you do some kinda activity that increases your heart rate for 30 mins a day you should be good. and another is to have more meals in a day but not more food. a normal persons diet should be 2000 calories a day. so 4 or 5 meals spread out during the day keeps your stomach moving and body able to process food faster and easier to break down without storing it as fat.

Fruits and veggies are good, so eat those!

But seriously… I just read a book and he talks about the four worst things you can eat. White flour, sugar, carbonated beverages, and trans fat. Basically these are the 4 worst things you can eat so avoid them. Eat 5 or 6 small meals a day and drink lots of water. When you’re burning up fat your body requires water to do this conversion so make sure you drink enough.

Eat whole wheat foods, they are much better than the white flour bread most people eat..

As for exercies that really depends on you. Just get in the habit of doing things! If you have a Wii, get Wii Fit. Walk your dog. Gets from light dumbbells from Wal-Mart and a book and good exercise programs and just follow that.

I have experienced great success useing Meal Replacement Shakes (MRE’s). They usually are high in protein (used to make muscle), and have lots of vitamins and minerals.

The exercises you should focus on are weight bearing exercises. Muscles burns more calories than fat so if you have more muscle you burn more even when you’re sleeping! This doesn’t mean you have to get ripped or anything. Since you’re a girl I assume you don’t want to have huge muscles so the best program to get into is one where you use low weigh and high repretition.
