I want something with less fat, calories and full of more nutrients
You could use dried banana, its cheap and taste so good! But being banana it does have sorta high calories. Try eating sweet potatoes maybe or baked sweet potatoes because they crisp up really well or even butter nut squash! Low fat cheese crackers are good. As i said dried fruits and you could eat riveta too which is sorta like crisps. Roasted chick peas provide iron and so many good things! Even nuts and seeds would be good.
Have you tried Sun Chips or Baked Lays? They're not necessarily healthy, but they're healthier than your average bag of Lays Potato Chips. As long as you eat them in moderation, I would consider them a healthy substitute.
Well you can buy the bannas at stores aswell which seems easier :P Yeah i eat butter niut sqush instead of potatoes, they taste liek sweet crisps if you make them thin enugh and rast them in salt and herbs.
I think i will bake some banana chips because i really do enjoy bananas and the squash sounds like a good idea too! I think i will look up some recipes for roasted chickpeas and squash. thank you
I don't want any sort of actual chips because eventhough they are baked they are still completely unhealthy in my opinion. I want some alternatives i can bake at home and take on the road with me
We have these things called Grain Waves where I live. They're baked potato chips with healthy flavoures such as sour cream & chives and they're absolutely delicious!
well i would rather make my own chips so i know exactly what is in them. I don't want any preservatives or extra crap i don't need
Try Pop chips. They pop them like they do popcorn. Very good,& healthy.
homemade potatoe chips.....less calories
Sun chips, or bannana chips.
Apple chips are good too! :)
Veggie chips
