Poor circulation which can cause erectile dysfunction. That is why I quit. You can take my lungs but leave my junk alone!!!

Those are all good ones. You could also include littering. Cigarette butts account for a huge amount of the litter out there and they don’t biodegrade very fast.

Also the process of growing tobacco is not very ‘earth friendly’. Tobacco plantations are hacked out of forests and jungles that are clear cut causing a lot of soil erosion and water pollution. They put all kinds of powerful pesticides on the tobacco that stay in the leaves and go right in the cigarettes. Also the pesticides and chemical fertilizers run off the sides of the hills they farm on and get into the drinking water. They bleach the paper that they wrap the cigarettes in which also is hard on the environment. They add all kinds of strange stuff to stretch the tobacco and give you less of the ‘real’ stuff for your money. Some of the stuff is really bad for you too.

The people who work on the tobacco plantations get paid very little. Only the higher up people really make any money at it.

Minors who are too young to legally smoke steal cigarettes which leads to them getting into all kinds of trouble later on.

People drop lit cigarettes on their beds, couches etc which burn their houses down. They throw down their still lit cigarette butts in dry grass or leaves and wind up burning up someone elses’ pastures, trees, homes etc.

Cigarette smoke stains everything in the places where people smoke on a regular basis. It makes anything white or light colored stained yellow. It does this to your lungs, teeth and nails too.

Oh and they can give you and everyone around you who breathes in the smoke cancer of different kinds too.

Cigarettes are just great huh?
