Smoking Problem

I need to quit smoking. I’ve been smoking for a year so it wont be AS hard to quit for someone whos been smoking longer.

Sadly I can’t seem to get over the fits. My problem is whenever I’m nervous, stressed, or frustrated I smoke. And if I’m bored I will smoke..

I’ve tried chewing gum and it didn’t help. I’ve tried listening to music, watching tv, doing things I like such as edit videos take pictures and nothing works!!

Can someone help?

motherof1 yes I know but its additive. Not as easy as you might think. =/

Well just think of all the bad tar you have in your lungs. Be smart and stop.

I struggled for years trying to quit. One weekend my husband came home and we were in the car on the way to dinner. I asked him if I threw my pack out the window if he would make sure I didn’t smoke all weekend. And he did. Then he left my car on empty and took all my money from me making sure I couldn’t leave to go buy any. It took about 2 weeks for me to feel better and to not crave as much. I smoked for years and with help I was able to quit. But that was seriously the only way. I was forced to quit and very happy now that I have.
