How can I get compatible drivers for my new hard drive?

I just installed a new hard drive, and a (copy) of windows 2k. I don’t have any graphic drivers/vga drivers/sound nothing. I went to the Toshiba website and I’ve searched the web pretty extensively and still can’t download any drivers. Every time I do it says ‘’driver not compatible w/ current hardware? I don’t want to wipe clean the new hard drive and install another version of windows.

Can I get the right hardware and drivers installed w/out having to reinstall windows again?

Hi,

The best thing to do is call the computer manufacturer. I know that I have a Dell, and I can get all the drivers for my system by going to their site and finding my laptop model.

If you are willing to spend a few bucks, the software Driver Detective costs money, but it will scan your system and link you to the drivers you need.

Good luck.
