Hard time at work.

I am in the military, stationed in Korea, I work in a very small office approximately 10 of us between the age of 20 to 28 and I am 1 of the youngest in the office, 19. On a daily basis I get made fun of, not just as joking we all do that to each other but a little further it is very hurtfull. Everyone goes out and does fun things after work, I am never invited and I often just sit in my room because I am honestly afraid that if I go try to see everyone I will get pushed away. I have put up with it for about 4 months now and it is starting to get to the point where I am having a hard time working and am constantly feeling depressed. I just want to fit in! There are a lot more details that I feel I should include…

I work alone on one side of the office, if I try to enter the other office to get something I get locked out or pushed out. I cant talk to anyone, and I am far from home and real friends/family.

Please I need advice on what to do I really am having a very hard time with this! Thanks all

I would consider talking to someone of equal age or rank and explaining that you are looking for someone to do things with and would they be interested.

Otherwise, you might consider getting really involved with Fun Advice during your spare time. There are lots of questions that need answers. You could also pick out someone on Fun Advice to use as a sounding board through Fun Mail which is private.

Another option is to get involved in some charity, hospital or other such place where you can volunteer some time and help others.

Welcome to Fun Advice!

i hope you do not take offense,         To that that’s gone before;         ’Tis only that it’s my two-cents,         And not one penny more. §;o)

Thanks I appreciate it! I just am having a very hard time, I honestly feel constantly depressed and I feel like I have no one to turn to. I feel like I cant even go to the mental services to talk to someone that the military offers for help because I have a security clearence and I dont want to risk getting it revoked because of mental health issues.
