Can I vacuum up a crushed light bulb?

So my stupid cat bumped over the lamp >.> and the light bulb broke so can you vacuum up a crushed light bulb? I KNOW sounds REALLY stupid. But I dont know if it would ruin the vacuum or anything. And I have people coming over soon so I need to know, like now. haha. I try’d looking it up on. NO USE. anyways please help :D thanks!

Answer #1

It’s way too fragile to ruin the steel vacuum parts but it could get stuck in some places. Doing what everyone says by sweeping then vacuuming should mean you only vacuum a little so it should be fine.

Answer #2

sweep the big pieces and vacuum the small ones

Answer #3

yeah it’s best if you just take the broom and sweep it. if you already did that and are worried that you left some pieces then I guess you can resort to a vacuum since they should be really small.

Answer #4

I wouldnt try to vacuum up the whole thing, use a broom and dust pan, and then vacuum up the little pieces (like the crushed pieces that often get missed while you’re using a broom, I’ve done this before), or use a wet paper towel to make sure you got everything.

thank you :D lol. life savers.
