Do you think God will just get tired of seeing so much sins and destroy us all?

According to the Bible when the world was full of wickedness he saved one righteous family and 2 or 7 of every animal and killed everyone else with a great flood. Everyone but Noah’s family was killed including men, women, children, and even babies since it seems they were all wicked.

I don’t think so…cause in the bible He promised that he wouldn’t destroy the world anymore after he did that flood…so I guess he’ll leave the destroying part up to the Devil or something:/

which I find hard to understand since god is supposed to love everybody. I dont see how killing babies fits that criteria, but then again most things in the bible make little sense.

Why exactly would a God who is all-knowing (thus already knows that all this sin would happen) suddenly get tired? He already knew what would happen. It’s not exactly a surprise.

Counting the great flood, the destruction of Sodom an Gomorrha, the plagues on old Egypt and every war that God ordered the Israelites to fend… For the number of people god killed directly, 2038344 seems about appropriate. Though I don’t remember that the Bible gives numbers about how many evil sinners exactly lived in Sodom and were killed by the fire of gods wrath. Nor on the exact sum of innocent firstborn baby sons of Egypt who died because their headstrong Pharaoh had an argument with foreign folks choleric God. -_-

Besides… MY likable Goddess doesn’t destroy worlds. So I assume YOUR God must be a rather malevolent figure.

But he can’t destroy MY world, for I don’t believe in his existence. So I guess that only YOUR world is endangered by his unjust wrath. ;-P

God destyed all even the babies becuz the wickedness was in there blood. If there was good ones why would he want to bring them up in a wicked world where they would be tormented. Better to start fresh. Coulnt risk the chance of having teh tainted blood past on in the new beginning

Angel, are you serious? Wicked blood? Do you really believe a newborn baby can have wicked blood. Because that is just…. well…. CRAZY!!!! The lengths some chistians will go through to justify the atrocities committed by their god just simply boggles the mind….

• The Earth was corrupt and full of violence (Genesis 6:11)
• The holiness of people were gone and completely corrupted (Genesis 6:12)
• The Earth was so evil it made God’s heart grieve in pain that He made them (Genesis 6:6-7)If they didn’t die young, the chances are that they probably would grow up to be evil and continue on with the endless cycle of evil. God had a purpose for the flood if the babies were innocent im sure the would have a special place protected in the hands of God.

Well, the Bible states at Psalms 133:3 that God “commanded the blessing [to be],[Even] life to time indefinite”,so according to it God will not “destroy us all”,but again according to Bible history He will destroy a wholle bunch of us.The question is:What should we do to survive?

Isaiah 1:9 states:”Unless (God) himself had left remaining to us just a few survivors, we should have become just like Sod´om”.If it wasn’t because of HIM, we would have destroyed ourselves long ago….

The book of Lamentations shows HIS mercy has limits, otherwise why was the deluge of Noah’s days?

Like I said, the lengths some christians will go through to explain away the completely horrible atrocities their god does is amazing. There are so many inconsistencies, I don’t know where to begin. First off, god is supposedly infallible. How can he be infallible if he created wicked people? God is supposedly all-knowing. If so, he created men knowing they would become wicked. God is supposedly loving, but he will destroy the things he loves because they have become wicked, and he knew it would happen.

WE HAVE FREE WILL. He chose to let us pick our paths instead of focing us to go one way. Man i have said this a lot of times before do u forget???? Wickedness has a part to play in achieving his purpose for eternal salvation

If he didnt destroy the babies as well then who would raise them? feed them? there would be nobody seein as they all were destroyed becuz they were wicked. Why would God want the babies to be brought up with wickedness anyways.. Im sure the babies were a lot happier in heaven with Him

God has HIS own reasons why to be patient.The Scripture says to Pharaoh: “For this very cause I have let you remain, that in connection with you I may show my power, and that my name may be declared in all the earth.”(Romans 9:17 and also the context at Exodos chapters 12 through 15).Find those reasons out.

Besides,jimahl,God made a perfect start.We are the ones spoiling the earth and life.What would you recommend how to handle the situation?Do you have a better plan?

Go wont destroy us all. He will only destroy those who refuse to let go of sin. He doesn’t want anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Pet3:9). Jesus in Luke 13:3 says Unless you repent you will perish. Repent means that we should aks God (not priests) for forgiveness of our sins and also turn away from sin.

No I think God feels we’re perfectly capable of doing that to ourselves. He won’t he’ll let us fulfill our choices.

I do not think He will get ‘tired’ but there will be a limit and He reveals it to us in His Word. Are you familiar on the 7000 year prophesy? …one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day? - google, it is interresting.
