Is religion the best way of making money?

I would be afraid to “use the Lord,”in order to make money. He calls it filthy lucre in his word, because he knows how much it is cherished on earth, men will kill for it, and scruples do not exist in many where money is concerned. God promises to provide what we need, when we walk in accordance with his ways. Our job as his children is to lift him up, to follow him, in word and deed, to be light in a dark world, to be salt, to show love and humility, forgiveness, mercy and grace, money is a necessary element, as long as we are on this earth, but, he has promised to supply. Thank you Precious Lord, for your word, that is a sound foundation, that we can stand on, the wind and the waves, will bash against it, but, it will stand, and we will stand, as long as we are rooted and grounded in Your Word. Thank you that you are available to Whosoever will come…Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you. Forgive and have mercy, and your Heavenly Father, will forgive and have mercy on you. Lift him up, that all may be drawn unto him.

Some cynical people can make money out of religion. They take advantage of people who trust them.

However, taking advantage of people to get their money doesn’t just happen in religious circles - it’s how many people get rich selling junk, cheating people out of insurance etc… So I don’t think it’s a religious problem - it’s worse in other circles.

RELIGION EXAMPLE CHRISTIAN IS NOT MEARNT FOR MAKING MONEY BUT MONEY IS USE TO BUY CERTAIN THINGS TO HELP THE WORK OF GOD .BUT IF SOMEONE PRAY FOR you IS NOT FALSE TO GIVE HIM MONEY OR PAY HIM.U CAN NOT BUY THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH MONEY.U CAN GIVE FREELY TO SUPPORT HIM. THE BIBLE SAYS WHO EVER DOES NOT WORK SHOULD NOT EAT. you HAVE TO WORK AND GET your MONEY

HOw can you make money with religion? Unless you want to be a preacher/minister? And they don’t make much.
