go to cps or wait 2 more years?

Well right now its hard never getting anything from my mom or dad they never been married and I recently met my dad at 11. I been living with my grandmother since I was 12, I’m now 16. I have a job which is every fri I make 30 dollars with this I buy what I want. My mom stays 2 hours away from me and her husband dislikes me, I don’t talk to her. My grandma takes good care of me she’s just really old and my grandpa wants me to get out really bad. I don’t know my other realitives good enough and I have no brother or sister that I grew up with. What’s best for me?? Its been like this for 5 years, should I just continue it for only 2 more years? Help

CPS is bad, sweetheart. There are a lot of things going on in there and some of the kids die. Not an option. Instead, work and work as many hours as you can to stay away. Put the money away and get a roommate. Go to college to get more of a life independent of what you have been accustomed to. Good luck.

Answer #2

cps’s only option would be to put you and the foster care system.
