Can someone please give me some advice on how to stop a cat killer in their path?

In the past year, my cats have been disapearing more and more. I went from 12 cats, to now 1. I didn’t show care into it until my most beloved cat died. I cared for her a lot and took care of her 24/7. It hurts that someone can go around taking my cats. & i know who it is. My dad is the biggest suspect. He never liked the cats and he acts funny when i talk about the situation. Him and my mother don’t get along and every time she talks about the cats he tells her to get over it. I feel like i want to just slap him. Is there anyone who can give me some good advice to get my cats back or at least my favorite one? It will really help me in the state I am right now.

Answer #1

He might be takin them to the humane society or dropping them off somewhere. Your dad is so immature. Do your cats have trackers? Maybe you should have a sit down with your dad and tell him how much it really hurts you that he took away your favorite cat. Ask him if 12 is too many, and see if you guys can come to a compromise.

Answer #2

you had 12 stupid cats no wonder he took them away

Answer #3

This is exactly why cat owners need to be more responsible and keep their cats in the house. Cats get into people’s gardens and tear them up. Cats rummage through people’s garbage cans. Cats poop on people’s property. Cat urine kills your neighbour’s lawns. I can go on, but I think you get the point - have respect for other people and if you want to keep your cat safe, keep it in the house.

If, however, you truly believe your dad is the culprit, then stop getting cats until you have your own place.

Answer #4

Trackers on any more cats you get is a good idea. I hate the idea of indoor cats. They are animals and supposed to roam and have freedom. Have you asked your dad outright if its him?

Answer #5

Twelve cats is rather alot.

Answer #6

Let’s just say this, my cats aren’t like what you put above. & also, don’t you dare tell me to have respect for others. I am completely responsible for them and you are not to tell me otherwise. Obviously you don’t like cats, and cats dont do that stuff you put. Only dogs do that, cats are clean & well trained animals.
