Why Does When My Foot Falls Asleep And It Wakes Up It Get's All Tingaly?

When you are sitting in a position too long, your nerves get cut off from the brain. This feeling is “falling asleep”. When you try to move that limb, your body “wakes up” causing your nerves to send “impulses” to that limb as you tell the body to move it. That is the “tingling” feeling.

It’s pretty common in your hands and feet, but it can also occur in your mouth or other parts of the body. Prolonged pressure on the part can actually cutt off arteries and blood from going to the limb which can cause serious issues as well.

Yes, that is the same feeling, just instead of nerves going numb, your blood flow is going numb. Prolonged exposure to that can cause that limb to not function properly.

Hotdogs can be made from all sort sof things. Most notably in America they are made with Pork. Recently though, I’ve seen rise of hotdogs made from Turkey and beef. Yes, you are right. This tingling feeling is also called “Pins and needles” because that is what it feels like. It is caused by strong impulses from the nerves “waking up” to function the part that has lost connection from the brain.

Try moving the limb over your head. Also, try moving it around in a circle. This should help stop the tingling in a few minutes.

hey my funmail thing isn’t working, by any chance any of you know why?

I am fluent in Russian(native), English, and Japanese. I can speak Farsi as well and bits of Uzbek. I can read all of them though. :D

what I do when it happens to me is try to massage the area to get the blood circulating…{happens to me a lot when I am on the computer too researching the hand I use my mouse with..:(} unless it’s my leg…then I just try to walk on my leg til it stops…still very annoying!
