fish sleeping or should I be worried?

my fish was recently being attacked by the other fish in the tank so I removed him and put him in a seperate bowl and I am currently providing him with medicine. I check on him every now and again to see if he is still alive and he has been for about a week now, but I just looked into his bowl and he seems to be motionless. his body is facing the bottom and he just seems to be looking down and gently like swaying his fins, what does this mean? im worried and I dont want him to die, does it mean he’s sleeping or something, advice would be great in any way, shape or form! thanks a bunch people xx
