How would you feel if you ended a legends sports career?

So I’m a Chicago bears fan and I was watching the game last night and saw that rookie sack Brett Farve and I thought he was only out for the game…but he’s done for the season. So if this is Farve’s last season how does that kid feel lol. I mean he sacked Farve(a legend) gave him a concussion ending his season which SHOULD be his last season. So I think it would be amazing to be in his situation and be able to say that I ended Farve’s career you know. But what about all of you…

i saw that game i almost cried I’d feel horrible if i was the reason that ended brett farve’s career i mean i know it was going to be his last season but he could have played longer if he hadn’t gotten that concussion its sort of like saying you could have prevented someone from dying

I don’t know that I’d feel happy ending someone’s career like that. I know people rag on him for his faux-retirement from the Packers and his recent scandal, but seriously? Amazing to end a guy’s season? Honestly, it’s not the guy’s fault, it was a legal move. But regardless of how people feel about Favre, regardless of the fact that he really DOES need to retire, I hope Wootton doesn’t feel like he’s accomplished some great feat. Schadenfreude is not a principle to live by.

I really like Brett Farve as a football player but in spite of his love for the game, it is time for him to retire before he has any more injuries…
