What is your favorite thing about being a parent?

I’m not a parent, but I have taken care of children a lot growing up. My favourite part probably has to be trying to get the young ones to talk. They try so hard, and when they do finally get a word down, it’s like the cutest thing. xD You show them how proud you are (clap and say good job, etc), and they get the hugest smile ever. With the older ones, I love how they ask the funniest things.

I know that when I finally have children, watching them grow up and helping them grow will be my most favourite thing of being a parent.

I am the mother of a 2 year old and am currently 9 months pregnant. Being a mother has truly proven to be the biggest gift and achievement all in one. My favorite thing about being a mother is watching my son learn and grow. Its truly amazing how fast their brains pick up on things and learn. Not a single day goes by that my son doesnt suprise me with new words he has learned, new things he has learned how to do, etc. Im fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom at the moment and its so rewarding. I get to witness each milestone and watch my son grow into the little boy he is becoming.
