well I’m in the same boat. But my mom hates my Best friend. Shes so jealous. I’m the same age as well turning 18 in Feb. But I mean all you can do is just say whatever and just stick with what you’ve got. College and graduation is coming up soon. But yeah for some reason parents are becoming all strict and much more untrustworthy its bullShyt

Answer #2

well, think about it. maybe they did something when they were your age that they werent proud of and they dont want you to make the same mistake. and I quite frankly, would try to stand up to them, and explain why I gotta do this and that.

Answer #3

well my parents do stick their noses into every little thing I do..but what you should do is put them in their place, say ether you back the hell up, or im out as soon as im 18..say u’ll go live with your boyfriend, get enough money and move so far away that they’ll forget your name! and if that doesnt work then fake your death! kidding, but juss tell them to seriously back the hell up..its not right for them to do that.

If you don’t like living by your parents rules, then move out and learn to take care of yourself. If you don’t like free rent, food, electricity, water, cable, etc.? Then move out. Your parents only want whats best for you. They want to protect you. Teenagers never realize this until they move out and have to pay their own bills, have creditors calling them, have to pay for school with their own money. You will never understand your parents until you are in their position. But as for now start figuring out your life and what you want out of it. Start taking care of yourself. Save up, move out and grow up. It may sound harsh but it will be the best thing your ever did for yourself.
