Advice to be motivated during my fast?

I am over weight by like 30lbs. I am going to do a fasting diet, I would like to lose a little weight but also detox my body. I need to try to stay motivated. Anyone have any advise for me?

you need to find another way to channel you depression. See if you can take care of it naturally first. a lot of times exercise can actually help. It releases endorphins that actually make the body feel better mentally. if not, then see your dr and explain your depression, get some medication and treat the depression. Taking diet pills is extremely unhealthy..It can cause cardiovascular problems and most of them arent recommended by the FDA. Once you treat the depression, the exercise and eating habits will change and you will lose the weight you want. Right now..you are in a vicious cycle..you are eating because you are depressed..then depressed because you are eating and gaining weight..and the cycle goes on and on..and its not healthy for you physically or mentally. So see your dr. Talk about your depression and the rest will work it self out.

NO NO NO! Thats my advise! If you want to lose weight, there are other ways to do it. Fasting is basically starving. The longest they recommend fasting for is one day. and they recommend a bunch of water!! As far as detox. You have your own personal detox system. It’s called the Liver and the Kidney’s! Right now Colon Cleanses and such are hot, but you certainly have to be careful while using them if you chose to.and you cant use it and be fasting because you will not be able to use the bathroom, which is pretty essential for a colon cleanse. I think if you want to lose 30 lbs you should change your lifestyle. Diets seriously dont work. They work for the moment..but then you gain it all back over time because you start eating like you used to. If you change habits and eat better and exercise you will change your entire body, feel better, and never be hungry. You really should have breakfast, a small snack 2 hours later , lunch, another snack two hours later, and then dinner. Work out at least 30-60 minutes a day and you will be shocked at the results. Also, allow yourself to have one day where you cheat and have junk food. And by cheat I mean have ice cream, but like a bowl of ice cream..not like..the entire carton and then cookies and then chips. if you deprive yourself of things…you’ll eventually freak out and that is the start of what we call binge eating haha. Include some antioxidents into your diet and your get some extra detoxification in there as well.. Please dont fast…and please dont take some random who knows what in a pill to clean god knows what out of your system…
