Is it okay to Facebook your guitar teacher?

yea. if you do add them just remember not to go home after a lesson and say something like “ my piano teacher is stupid” you wouldn’t wanna say that because then they could see it.. if you think you might forget that your friends with them and there’s a chance you might say that i would not add them. And since they do not actually teach at your school, right? well then i don’t think it is against the law or anything so i would not worry about that. i hope i could help

Yes, you surely can. And I don’t see any reason why he does not confirm your friend request since it is not againts the law. I have almost all my students in my friends list on FB.

I have several teachers as my friends on facebook. Some are 15 years older than me, and one, I think, is about 50 years older than me. So what? It’s a friendship, not a way of telling him/her that you are interested in them. I don’t see why you should even wait to turn 18. I’m 16 and as I said, my middle school’s assistant principle is my friend on facebook. He isn’t a pervert, he is actually a funny guy, and sometimes says meaningful and wise things. This year (I’m in 11th grade) and my 5th grade science teacher and my 3rd grade teacher added me. That doesn’t bother me. It’s not like I message them and stuff.

Alright, first, on a non-related note…its NOT, not nawt…. and to your question, yeah it’s fine… I don’t see any harm in adding someone who hang out with you know? Teachers are a different thing since it’s there job to teach and not really have a friendship with students….but I use to take lessons, and the guitar teacher was a cool guy and we were friends…not on facebook since he hates the internet….but yeah..go for it.
