Extremely Irregular Period.

My periods are extremely irregular, more so than anyone I’ve ever met. I’ve gone to the doctor for this before and they did absolutely nothing. I have been put on birth control, and that hasn’t helped, so I gave up on that (I am not sexually active).

I haven’t had my period in 9 months, and before that I would only get it every 3 or 4 months. Before this spell, the longest I had gone without it was 6 months.

Is there anything I should be worried about? Anything I should do? or should I really be grateful that I rarely get it?

You need to see a doctor again because I think you should be tested for polycystic ovarian syndrome, a popular sign is irregular and very few periods.

I agree with the other answer. Another sign is gaining weight and things like that. You definately need to go see your doctor and talk to your mom or another adult that you trust about it. Good luck!
