Can someone explain how to get Sims 3 custom content?

explain it in a simple way how to down load it and put it on sims 3 game? someone told me before it seems hard :(

All you have to do is go to thesims3.com and search around to find an item you want.

Then, you simply click on the item you want to see a larger photo and more details. If you wish to add that particular item to your game, click on the “Add to Game” button beside the photo and go from there. It should tell you what to do next.

After it’s downloaded, then go into your game, and enable custom content…look through your catalogs for whatever it was you downloaded…and it should be there. (you may need to enable custom content BEFORE selecting and downloading an item, I’m not to sure.)

Also, I believe you will need to close The Sims 3 game before downloading any items.
