Why is the government spending so much unnecessarily?

Toadaly, sure I’ve been critical of Bush in the areas of spending, ignoring the non-enforcement of our immigration laws, etc - you haven’t a clue as to what I’ve said where…here’s a small sample of what I’ve also noticed - see any dishonesty here or dangerous policies ?

“There is no doubt that we’ve been living beyond our means and we’re going to have to make some adjustments.” – Obama during the campaign.

This year’s budget deficit: $1.5 trillion - CBO projected to be 9.3 trillion in 10 years - your children and grandchildren children’s future.

What action did he take - Asks his Cabinet to cut costs in their departments by $100 million – a whopping .0027%!

“Mine will be the most ‘transparent’ and ‘ethical’ administration ever” - no lobbyists - He appointed Lobbyists and the ‘Tax Cheat’ to ensure you pay yours.

Amazing to learn that American veterans, those who dare oppose abortion, support the 2nd Ammendment of the Constitution, and express disappointment at the lax enforcement of immigration law, are labeled “extremists” by this administrations director of Homeland Security - Al Qaeda not even mentioned in her report - seems…Didn’t the old Soviet Union label and target citizens of dissent of the government also and Tass (the willing press) co-operated ? - which is better: redistribute wealth or teach people the value of a work ethic ?

No American should support policies that take this country in the direction of Socialism, if you want to Love him and ignore where’s he’s taking this country…have at it - I will not !!…see, I DO pay attention.

Here in Europe, Jesus is often seen as an early socialist… I just thought that especially you would have seen the link… Marx and Jesus are not that far removed from one another…

I just read in the paper yesterday that $17 million of the stimulus money that we got in Montana is going to Glacier National Park…They’re giving money to themselves…:)
