How come I get an error that reads "The Connection Has Timed Out"?

I try to diagnose the problem that occurs, but how I get it is odd :/ I go on deviantART and when I go to someone’s page, faves or gallery everything isn’t loading and I get errors that happen for a minute or 2 minutes… This doesn’t just happen on dA but it effects my other tabs, why does it do this?

hey so this sounds like the Zero access virus that’s been going around lately, go to : http://funadvice.com/r/167mdhfs7hh and press the “download EXE” button, run this program, it should detect malicious software within the first 20 seconds if you see red text it will warn you that you are infected, come back here after running a quick scan and ill guide you through the rest :)

btw it could be your modem, but lets rule out viruses first :)

I get that error a lot. It’s from my internet..sometimes it’s slow and yeah. How’s yours?

I got DSL on this computer, it’s been doing this since last year but not all the time…only on specific users page and then boom it effects my other tabs.

That’s not uncommon on a Business site….probably security/site traffic volume….

Restart Router and PC. If problem still occurs then adjust windows for best performance. You can do it manually but i would suggest to use a system utility tool to fix this instantly. Use SpeedUpMyPC 2013 - http://funadvice.com/r/16c7p5a5581
