emanicipation

Im 16 my mother and father are deceased and has been for over a year now I have a guardian but because of personal stuff that was taking place in our home I don’t want to reside with her anymore I want to get emancipated but she’s not going to sign over the rights so how do I go by doing that?

I cnt bite my lip because ima runaway and it was abuse so wats all da paper work I need to get it all togetha my family aint go take me soi gotta do sum on my own

You are over the age of fourteen and in Canada you may go befor a judge like blueeyes28 said , Till then just bite your lip and try to deal with it :) good luck. Yours truly, Demika Ray

depends on the situation. Are you in danger or in any type of harm, if not you have a year or so unitl you graduate I’m assuming stick with it until you can leave for college, if at all possible.

you dont need her consent at all or for her to sign anything..you go to court before a judge and they will look at your case and find you as an adult or not…pretty much everyone who wants an emanicpation do not have their parents or guardians consent but they get it anyways.
