Eating poop

My daughter just turned 2 years old. I’m trying to potty train her but sometimes she takes her diaper when she goes poop to change it. On this incidence she took it off and let it in the floor. Her sister which is 9 1/2 months ate some of it. My question is what do I need to do when this happens and will it make her sick?

Answer #2

It wouldn’t make her sick, just give her something else to eat or drink if you find out when she does it again.

Answer #3

wow I thought my grand daughter eating cat food was bad, I’ve seen lots of kids eat poo and they are just fine, probably not real sanitary but I don’t think it will hurt them too much, I suggest trying a closer watch until shes potty broke Hang in there you have your hands full with two little ones

Answer #4

I don’t think that she will get sick. My grandma told me that when my dad was 1, he ate his own poop. He didn’t get sick. So, I think that your 9 1/2 year old daughter will be harmed.

Answer #5

Yeah, I don’t think a child would eat enough to cause any problems, they would most likely spit it out straight away. Unless they had some f**ked up tastebuds… lol.

Answer #6

it wont hurt her…wont taste good either…lol my nephew when he was little did the same thing…he came out with this discusted yuck face and said his mouth was icky and he had poop on his hands and around his mouth…he said he thought it was chocolate…lol poor kid…never did it again that I know of, but he was a bit older than 9 months, but it didnt hurt him.

Answer #7

My little sister once got into one of her dirty nappies and some of the contents.

She was fine, though it would depend on the amount consumed.

Consulting a doctor would be your best bet though.

Answer #8

I agree you should talk to your doctor about this because no one here is a doctor so we ant tell you how your 9 month old will cope she will either be fine or get sick from it

Answer #9

Consult your Doctor asap.
