Green poop in a child?
my son has just pooed , & the colour was olive green looking faeces. Aged care nurse here & I don’t think I have ever seen a poo this kind. So what would this mean? He has Type 1 diabetes, & is 10yr. He did have a sports drink the other day that was Blue, as he was doing a huge run? Any ideas, Thanks, Jacra.
I also heard that a lot of iron in the system can turn your poop green.
im sure its the blue drink but poop is all kinds of colors dont worry im sure hes okay..goodluck
its just indegestion.. something he ate/ drank that didnt agree with his system.. thats why its green… green poop should not exceed more that 3 times.. if it does .. pls consult a doc.
his diet probably isn’t that well balanced…he probably just overloaded on the vegis and thats why his poo is that color:)
its only because your son ate a lot of vegis and fruits
It’s probably the blue colddrink…I know green colddrink makes your poop turn green and also eating silk worms…that’s the only two things I can think of.
