Is it hard to learn to play drums?

ok my family is blessed with music. every girl can play piano and some guys too (my dad even wrote a symphony!!) and the guys all have played drums in a band. I have always wanted to learn how to play drums and I think I would be good at it. I learn fast but I’m nt patient enough to wait for years and years before I become really good. is it hard to learn to play them and is it worth it?!

I [lay drums, and have been for about 4 years now. in my opinion drums are relatively easy to learn but difficult to play. the hardest part is early on, when your develpong your coordination, to play basis beats, and learning to keep time/tempo. after learning the basic beats and perfecting them it’s relatively easy to add to them, and build up your skills. but drums are hard to “play”, meaning that it takes a lot of stamina. so relatively easy to learn, difficult to play.

I’m a girl and I’ve been learning drums since sumwhere near de end of last yr… I’m now grade 8 (yamaha syllabus) and it’s not that hard… I tink if ure talented you can just learn it urself… I’m not talented and so I haf 2 practice reali hard… but it’s great and only ply if you haf interest in it… if not den 4get it…

SUPERFRESH thinks you should buy a music book, and rent a music teacher, you will be helped… or just ask your bro or dad to teach u. DUH. && WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO ANY WITH LOVE OR RELATIONSHIPS?!!?

ummm its kinnda hard but what instoment isnt hard??? I play drums && I luv it but I dont just like hit stuff your the bass of the band!!! ps drummin on a drum set is a great way 2 work out anger lol but you goota be a little patent but with any instoument you gotta luv it or you wont like it && it helps if you can play piano && you gotta pratice!!! ps not all drummers are boys just 2 let you no im a girl drummer && im better than al the boys :P lol
