Hello I heard on tv that urine gets rid of acne .. Has anybody tried this ?? Douse it work ???
Hi! You know, I've heard a lot about the health benefits of Urine. I wouldn't doubt that it does help people with Acne. I've not tried it, but I would!
One misconception is the fact that Urine is dirty, or a "waste" product. In reality Urine is Sterile and full of vitamins/minerals that our body could not absorb, so it's passed out.
Urine heals cuts faster than anything else, because it's a natural disinfectant. That's why you may have heard that if you are ever lost in the woods and get a deep puncture wound you should urinate on it to keep it clean and help it heal faster.
If you had no other fluid to live on you could extend your life by drinking your own urine, and it wouldn't hurt you.
There have been people throughout history who would drink their own urine for health benefits (you'll have to do your own research on this) but I have done mine and it's true!
Urine contains uric acid which has been proven to help the skin and to cure things such as athletes foot.
I would think of only feces as waste. Urine on the other hand can come in very handy in emergency situations.

Have any of you people tried it? I doubt so, so how can you dimiss something you've never tried? urine is sterile, not dangerous. You can drink a glass of piss and you'll be fine, it may actual save you in a situation where water wasn't available. As for acne, who knows, some people swear by it, but trying it wont cause any harm. It's always better to dismiss something of from your own experience or you'll stay as narrowminded as the mass. Also, can you imagine if society made you believe milk was a toxin excreted from the body? You'd go your hole life dismissing some disgusting bodily fluid without knowing its actual worth. Think about that.
Urine is your body getting rid of ammonia, something it can't process or use. Imagine putting ammonia cleaner on your face to get rid of acne- it would burn, and probably make things worse!
If you're wanting to go simple and effective with acne treatment, wash your face in a gentle saline (salt water) solution, don't scrub it really hard, just gentle wash your face with a washcloth. Then apply a thin layer of tea tree lotion (don't use tea tree oil in it's neat form!) to the affected areas- tea tree is a natural antiseptic, and helps with minor skin ailments like acne and itchy bites.
Do your research. :) If you believe what you've been told all your life about Urine being nothing more than waste you would think that way. I suggest researching Urine Therapy and read the forums from people who have used it and do the research on those who have used it for centuries, and how it's sterile, and has antiseptic properties and has been proven to be beneficial in other areas. :) It's quite interesting.

I really doubt the urine can help, it has urea in it so its probably somehow harmful to skin. I've heard and tried that toothpaste works..it might make it a little redder but it does help to dry the spots out and evenually kills them

unless it was on discovery health channel, I wouldn't believe it. that's pretty disgusting. Urine is a waste product, and so is your acne. I doubt putting more waste on your face will clear up your skin.

it doesnt work unfortunantly a lot of idiots go around making up the most stupid myths and that is by far one of the stupidest I have ever heard of
I know one reason it clear mines up I had blacheads in my face them hillarious dark spots and it clear up
yes it does work a lot it then clear my face and I see so much results in it
Egh, can't imagine trying it. I don't care if it rids acne forever..lol
