it is neutered and he still thinks it is fun to HUMP!

Answer #2

Sometimes, dogs like to hump as a dominance behavior. I personally think its funny, especially with three of our dogs. They are all girls and now that its spring they all hump each other. They feel good and like to play this way. If it is an unwanted behavior then I would suggest trying to train him that it’s not something that you want him to do. I have found it a bit difficult to try dogs NOT to hump each other, so I just laugh or ignore them when they do it. So long as they aren’t humping people. Then that would be bad.

‘Hope this helps.

Answer #3

You have to train him that the behavior is bad. Saying No with a stern voice and pulling them part is good. Get down to his level and say “No, bad!” etc. If the behavior still continues, try a spray bottle. Filled with ordinary water, you can spray him lightly on the face when the behavior is unwanted.

YOU have to be the dominant one, the leader of the pack per say. Then he’ll listen to you and do his best to please you.
