When I used to walk to school and back I had this one dog that used to run out at me, barking and going mad, it scared me to no end. Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do, at least I don’t think you can. Perhaps take a different route on your fitness walk and avoid the dog! Good luck :)
Why are strange dogs jumping on you when you’re outside? Is the dog a stray, or is the owner very irresponsible? Personally, if the dog is jumping on you and he/she has an owner, I’d write a complaint. If the dog is a stray, call Animal control to pick the dog up so they can try and find the owner or put the dog up for adoption.
