Why doesn't he want me to go to the rave?

I have no idea why he wouldn’t want you to go other than he figures you might cramp his style or maybe he is concerned about your safety, but I think you and your sister should go and have a great time!

Well this is coming from a guy, I know., but if he is spending a large amount of time and energy making you feel guilty., then you should either sit him down & talk it out- you know compromise or just forget about it. Bottom line- he is trying to be controlling. Trust me; Do not let your bf make you feel as if your ideas and thoughts are useless and inferior..

We’re talking mardi gras here. not some family get together. In a healthy relationship both partners respect each other’s personal space but they also respect each other’s ideas. If he’s not willing to compromise, after all the trouble you went through to get those tickets- I’d tell him it’s not going to happen.. I’m sure if you told him it’s really bothering you he will change something. If not- let him know your going to need a break when he come’s back after his get a way trip.

I’m surprised no one has said this yet: He wants to go with a bunch of guys, right? Mardi Gras is notorious for bare breasts and drunken hook-ups. Just sayin’.
