I want to let go...but I want closure

I like my guy friend and I was gonna confess my feelings to him today because my friends and my sister was telling me that they think that he likes me so today in class, I was going to tell him but then he was talking to this girl about who he likes and he said some girl in grade 11 that he met from summer school…but then he said”he doesn’t know about her anymore” so I was heartbroken when I heard that…i keep telling myself to let it go but I feel like I need closure…i need to hear him say to me himself that he doesn’t feel that way about me instead of going based on something he told some girl…u guys might think i’m stupid for this but I need to get this off my chest before school’s out which is in 2 weeks and I don’t want to spend my whole summer wondering
