What will I do if my boyfriend doesn't want to go to prom?

I told my boyfriend that the prom is coming up then he got all moody with me because I said I wanted to to.then he said he doesn’t see the point in spending money for something that he’s only going to wear once and if he did go he would just sit in the corner like a total loser. He then eventually said he would go but I’m worried encase he gets miserable and ruins the night for both of us.

I’m of a like mind to him myself. I would suggest you give him reasons to behave (bribe or bargain with him) or you could just try to help guide him through it by telling him what to do and when to do it. This advice would work with me but everyones different so good luck.

Why would he ruin the night for you if he cared about you? Tell the boy to rent a tux for the night and get some dance steps down because he’s going to have the time of his life. I really don’t think he’d ruin it he just doesn’t really want to go, but knows if you go he’ll go to make because it means a lot to you, so to try and get you to stay home he’s just saying he’ll sit in the corner. He wont. =P He’ll be up on his feet with you dancing the night away!!!
