Does Swimming help you lose weight?

I just got a pool and I am trying to lose weight on my belly. I am 13 and 5’5 and weigh 110 pounds.. I Hate how my stomach looks like and I want to get rid of the extra fat on it… All my friends say im not fat and they pick me up and carry me all the time… But I feel like im heavy and I dont like feeling like this.. If swimming doesnt help make my stomach better looking , what will ???

any ideas for me that will help me in a short period of time =]

Awh sweetie, you’re so young. You don’t need to be worrying about weight. You are under weight for your height and age. Listen to your friends because I promise you they are telling you the truth. Too too young to be worrying about such things.

yes it does.its very good excersize expically for your legs. and if you wanna lose weight eat very healthy..like fruit veggies etc..and over time if you swim and all that good stuff over time you will lose weight

Your underweight, so I doubt your stomach looks bad or has extra fat.

My advice is - gain some weight.

Swimming is more likely to make you gain weight from muscles. I’m not sure but it could
