Does music help a plant grow

I am doing a science fair project I need to know what music works the best

We did an experiment when we were younger on the same thing. We tried 3 different types of sound: Classical No music Rock.

I think the plants grew the fastest under rock music. But do it and find out.

I seen them do this experiment on mythbusters- music does indeed help plants to grow. the best music based on their results was heavy metal (believe it or not). you may be able to find this experiment on their website- either mythbusters or the discovery channel.

I believe more upbeat music or some calming music it all depends though. I hear music is very helpful for plants to grow since they seem to like the vibrations.
