Does getting a belly ring hurt?

Im 13. I want to get a belly ring soon. Like how do they do it? Does it hurt? how long does it take to get the piercing in?

they mark it, put the calm on it. and then they put the needle through. it doesnt hurt bad, its just like a major heat feeling in your belly button then its hurts a little its all good though.

To do it they’ll mark it first then they’ll either clamp it and pierce, or just pierce it by free hand… From my experiance though free hand is better. And clamps were the most painful part haha.

Uhmm well everyones pain tolerance is different but it didn’t hurt for me… But the bottom navel hurt less then the top… I’d compare with with a hard pinch…

And that whole procedure to pierce it takes about 5 minutes total wich includes (cleaning, marking, optional clamping, piercing, jewlerry insertion, and more cleaning) haha.
