Should I get a nose ring, or do they get infected and hurt a lot?

I am 13 years old and I would love a nose ring… But I don’t know if they get infected a lot. Also I’ve heard that they hurt like hell. I just don’t know if I should get one if they get infected. I have a narrow face and a good sized nose and I thought it would pizzaz my face up a little. Just a simple rihnstone. Probably white, silver, blue, or pink.

Well, if you take care of it. It shouldn’t get infected. I personally don’t have my nose pierced, but I’m guessing that like any other piercing, it will depend on your pain tolerence. I have heard that it makes your eyes water and usually is a sharp pinch.

I got my done when I was 13 (14 now) & I did it at home, its NOT PAINFUL. its like having your cartilage pierced like… twice in a row. Not to bad. I suggest getting it done professinally it wont hurt as bad that way. but doing it at home isnt bad either. If you do it at home order needles online at mspiercing.com 18G is best. DONT BUY NOSE RINGS AT CLAIRES! There labret & navel rings are great but there nose rings are cheapp. clean & twist it every day! Hope this helps <3
