I saw the daily show yesterday and they were saying that canada is like usa older brother do you think that is true.
Well, considering that the USA was founded in 1776, and Canada was unified in 1867, I’d say that the USA would be the older brother - even keeping in mind that we tend to follow suit with the USA. We adopt more USA-based ideals than the USA does from Canada.
I’m Canadian and I would agree that Canada is NOT the older brother. Though Canada has it’s own ideals and will stand up publicly (sort of) to defend them. They are definitely much more influenced by the USA then the other way around.
